The motion was different than a wake which happens occasionally.  It was an uneven motion and I asked my husband what that was.  We both figured it was a wake until I got to work and heard people talking about the earthquake.  I wonder if that was what I felt.  Can an earthquake of that magnitude travel that far and be felt in the water?
