Here is another new Elgg theme that is based off of Pete Harris’s, Elgg example theme framework (1.0). This theme requires Elgg 1.5 and is released under a GNU General Public License (GPL) version 2.
This theme is the same as my previous two themes, but with a different color scheme. With Natural Brown I used neutral colors that resulted in low contrast.
*Notes – As before, renaming the theme will cause it to break. Also if you are adding text to the front page in Administration>>External Pages>>Frontpage, the information pages are reversed e.g. Lefthand is Righthand and Righthand is Lefthand
Change log:
1.1 – Fixed missing homepage titles
1.0 – Initial release

when I installed it, the section TITLES do not show (latest members, latest files, etc) — the green bar shows but not the text — any idea why? thanks
@ J Romero – Thanks for pointing that out… I missed one line that needed to be changed. I’ll upload the new version now.
I tried to change my theme but text of the title bar is not white, anybody can help please…?
i think you need to download NEW version of this theme since it looks like it had bugs fixed — i think … but try this anyway
Hi I’m new to elgg, about 4 day in actually, but still missing some support info – on the install note for themes you say to click enable and then click bottom (under the tool admin) Well my problem is that “Bottom” is not an option, only “Top” and “Up”. So I hit “enable” and I’m locked out – I QUICKLY RESET IT by tearing the theme from the mod folder and waiting as I upload it again, about 4x by now…back to the drawing board for me. What do I do now? Suggestions? Please Help.
Thanks.
P.S. This is not the only theme that I’ve encountered problem with.
@Darwin – can you contact me please – I have about elgg customization advice? As you can see my site is plain :(
I LOVE it! Is there a fix to make it work on 1.7
