Free Software: Record Audio, Edit Pictures, and Record Video
These three programs are some of the greatest programs on the Internet today, not counting only free software by the way. With these programs you can record a album, edit your digital pictures, record a video tutorial, create sound effects, and create a logo for your new company. The list goes on an on. That is why these programs are so great and to boast they are all free.
Audacity: Record and Edit Audio
Audacity is a digital audio editing program. It was developed by Dominic Mazzoni while he was in Collage and is the 9th most popular download on soundForge.net. With Audacity you can record audio, edit audio and mix audio. Audacity supports multi-tacking and comes with built in effects. It’s also supported by Windows, Mac, and Linux. You could literally make a entire album with just this free software.
Gimp: Edit Pictures and Create Images
Gimp is a raster graphics editor. Gimp is a great alternative to photoshop and can be used to create digital art and edit your digital photographs. For 99% of users it does everything you would need including creating animated GIF’s. Gimp is supported by Windows, Mac and Linux. I highly recommend downloading Gimp over buying Photoshop.
CamStudio: Record Screen Captures and Audio
CamStudio is a screencasting program and is supported only by Windows. CamSudio renders video in eiather .AVI format or Flash Video format (.SWF). I use it to record all of my video tutorials here at The State of Affairs and I find it works really great for all of my screencasting needs. Just hook up your mic and hit record and you’re good to go.

Great, thanks for sharing. They are really useful. If Camstudio could enhance its editing function and audio editing function, that would be much better. I am using some screen recording called DemoCreator.
