Iran: what are we just stupid?

Sunrise PhotographyImagine the day has come for the big announcement. Troops are on the border. The planes are in the air. The ships are just off the coast. It is today those of us from a county comprised of peace-loving citizens attacks another county on frivolous grounds. No it’s not the Iraqi’s we are after, it’s the Iranians. What could we hope to accomplish besides more death and turmoil?

Let’s dive into the minds of the great policy makers of this country. Not the president or the congress or even the senate, no no no - it’s the bankers and business leaders that pay\employ our president, congress, and senate. Those are the true policy makers and those are the true decisive leaders. Now what could a banker in an office building and a CEO in a bunker want with Iran? They want dollars, not Euros.

In November of 2000 the first county in the world to switch from trading oil in dollars to euros was? If you guessed Iran you would be wrong. That honor goes to the great free state of Iraq. Next to follow Iraq was the second Axis of Evil, North Korea. Now for the drum roll and the third country to stop trading oil in dollars and switch to euros was the supposed free democracy of Iran, also known as the third axis of evil.

The whole slogan of “you’re either with us or against us” is starting to ring very true. There are more countries with examples of US policy being shaped by economic interest such as Bolivia, Venezuela, and other South American countries but we’ll stick to the Middle East for this discussion.

The sheer thought of the United States of America invading another country chills me to the bones. The Iraqi death toll is well over 500,000 now and is climbing exponentially as we speak and I don’t see it stopping any time soon. I believe we no longer need these great leaders to decide our conscious for us. We should be voting directly for what we want as a country.

Although I think the real scary part is that Obama or Hillary would not be against an invasion of Iran. Would you?
