The State of Affairs has Moved!

Well sort of… The State of Affairs has moved to a new hosting provider to be exact. I spent about 1 week deciding if we needed to move to more reliable hosting and then spent about 2 weeks deciding on which host to move too. I must say it was a decent task trying to filter through all the spam and actually find good reviews on host. Once I was done sifting through all the sites online I came to the conclusion that there was only about 2-3 host I felt comfortable moving my site too.
- I eventually settled on Fused Network for three reasons.
- The first reason was that they definitely do not over sell there hosting. Sites like godaddy.com that give unlimited disk space and bandwidth are notorious over sellers. Putting speed above overselling is a definite reason to go with a host like Fused Network.
- Secondly, I found more reviews on Fused Network then any other site period. In addition they were almost all 5 star reviews. The ones that were not five stars had replies to them from Fused Networks explaining the circumstances further. In all of the negative reviews the customer was just being unreasonable on what to expect from a webhost.
- The third reason I went with Fused Network is very simple. Its actually only one word. Uptime. I didn’t want 200,000 email address or 300 MySql Db’s, I wanted my site to be online all the time. Every site advertises 99.9% uptime, but in reality very few actually provide it. From what I have read in the reviews about FN this was the host to go to for uptime.
There was other reasons I decided on Fused Networks but those 3 were the main tippers. I would also like to note that they moved my site over to their network in almost no time at all. Through out that entire process there support was fast and very responsive to all my request. If your looking for a new host or just want reliable hosting you might want to give them a try yourself. Fused Network
NOTE: The State of Affairs received no compensation or incentives for this post. This is just my opinion on my experiences so far. If they change I will update with follow ups. Thanks for reading.
