I was reading an article in the Seattle Times by Danny Westneat, “S-word is Suddenly Hot Subject”. Obama is now being called a socialist by many of the McCain supporters as well as those who are slightly to the left of him. On May Day, thousands of people gathered at the Seattle Center to protest the immigration reforms that are currently being deliberated in congress. Some came in families; others in political groups, and some individual bystanders even joined in on the march.
